September 22 – 29

25 Sep

Hi y’all!

Thursday 25th SFQ will have board game night! This will take place at one of the members house in Rackarberget. We will start at 18:00, bring your own games and fika or just enjoy what we already have there.
If you want to come, call +46722159782 to get the address, or attend the facebook event and the address will be sent to you 🙂
Btw, no nation card is needed.

Furthermore, we will have a fika at Kalmar’s Nation on Sunday 27th. It starts at 12:00, but there is usually a queue, so we will meet 11:45 outside instead. There will also be a facebook event made tomorrow. No nation card is needed.

Hope seeing you all there! 😀

Hi! We just wanted to give you some more info about the queer movie that we will see at the cinema this evening.

The movie starts 20:30 at Fyrisbiografen, but we will meet at 20:00 to buy tickets. It costs 75 SEK for students and 90 SEK for non-students. Note, the movie is in French with Swedish subtitles.

The movie is called ”Tom at the Farm”. It is about a boy who attends his boyfriend’s funeral and meets the family for the first time. See the trailer on:

As I am writing this, there are only 18 hours 32 minutes left until SFQ Uppsala will get to meet all you new students! 😀

This evenening (Tuesday 16th) at Gotland’s nation at 19:00, we will hold our first activity of the year; our Welcoming Event! We will have two short activities meant to let us get to know each other and then there will be a short presentation about our organisation and we will tell you about upcoming events. After that we will go uppstairs to the pub and socialise 🙂

Things to think about:
The event is in the downsatirs pub of Gotland’s nation starting at 19:00
Bring 50 SEK cash to become a member of SFQ (membership is not mandatory for this event)
If you want to enter the pub after the event, you need a nation card, but not for the event itself
There will be snacks and soda for everyone 😉

We are looking very much forward to seeing you all this evening!
See you there!
