30/3 Pub-night with SFQ

26 Mar

Time for a queer pub night at Gästrike-Hälsinge nation!!

Is monday the perfect day? YES it is – this way we’ll start off the week with pure glitter, love and queerness. ♡♡

From 7 o’clock we’ll be at GH nation, having something to drink and maybe also to eat. You’ll recognize us by the rainbow flags.

Note that you’ll need a nation card for this event.
See you there!

Fika with SFQ 22/3

19 Mar

Queers (and allies)! Come have a coffee and something to eat with SFQ at Kalmar nation! You’ll recognize our tables by the cute little rainbow flags – we’ll be there from 12!

At 13 the board will have their meeting – so if you want to see what it’s like to be a board member and/or come with input for future events you’re SUPER WELCOME! (And if you just want to continue the fika while the board move to another table for the meeting that’s also fine)

–> Kalmar nation has lots of vegan and gluten free alternatives, no nation card is needed.

11/3 Rainbow evening: did it get better?

6 Mar

After last semester’s success we continue with the concept ”Rainbow evenings” – this time with the topic ”Did it get better?”

We’ll among other things discuss attitudes towards LGBT people in the religious communities and personal experiences of moving to a new place and start over.

The evening is hosted by University chaplains (http://www.uppsala.universitetskyrkan.se/uppsala) together with SFQ (The Uppsala federation of LGBT students) and Unitas. It doesn’t cost anything, there will be fika and you can talk either in Swedish or English. You don’t have to be religious and/or LGBT to participate in the discussions – just come with an open heart!

(The topic refers to it gets better, a project with the aim to give young LGBT people hope for the future. Read more at: http://www.itgetsbetter.org/)

The event will be at Prästgården, a small building next to Helga Trefaldighets church which is next to Domkyrkan

Hope to see you there!
